SSCMS PTO — Dress Down Day Wristbands
Dress Down Day Wristbands
One Friday a month, students can trade the uniform for jeans — but only with that month's wristband. Here's everything to know before Dress Down Day rolls around.
How Dress Down Day Works
Buy the wristband
Purchase online in advance, or in person during a scheduled rotunda sale the week before Dress Down Day.
Pick it up at homeroom
Wristbands are handed out during homeroom the day before Dress Down Day — not the morning of.
Wear it with jeans
Show up in jeans and appropriate attire, wristband on. No band, no participation — dress code applies instead.
The Wristband, At a Glance
- Required to wear jeans on Dress Down Day
- Colors change every month and can't be reused or carried over
- Sold online or in person — never on the day itself
- No refunds once purchased
Wristbands must be purchased in advance. Students who wear jeans without one will be dress coded and are subject to disciplinary action under the FCS Code of Conduct.
What Students Can (and Can't) Wear
A wristband allows jeans — it doesn't waive the rest of the dress code. All clothing must be school appropriate and students still need a proper top.
